Blackjack Surrender
Playtech’s Multi-Hand, multi-betting option Blackjack Surrender is fast, fun and full of action. It’s simple to learn but winning requires some real skill, so playing on the free version first is definitely advisable! As Blackjack is a game of skill it’s essential that you get to grips with the strategies required and the moves needed to beat the dealer to a winning hand. Free Blackjack games give you the chance to refine your skills with no risk, improving your chances of winning big when you do switch to real money game play.
Brilliant Blackjack Features
There are so many fantastic features in this game that it’s hard to know where to start! In terms of aesthetics, Blackjack Surrender doesn’t look particularly fancy, but as soon as the game has loaded the multi-hand options feel as though they’re calling out to you! It’s fun to be able to strategize several hands at once as it makes you feel as though you have more power against the dealer. Additionally, the more hands you play, the more chances of winning you have, making this version of the game super rewarding. You can choose to play between 1 and 5 at any time, and as you become more confident you’ll find that 4 or 5 hands is the best way to play!
The graphics are second-to-none, as you’d expect from any Playtech Casino game. Every click of your mouse triggers an immediate, sharp response on the screen, mimicking the movements and sound effects you’d find in a genuine real-life Casino. You’ll feel as though you’re sitting at a real Blackjack table, only you’ll be playing from the comfort and convenience of your own home.
Understanding Blackjack Surrender
The graphics are second-to-none, as you’d expect from any Playtech Casino game. Every click of your mouse triggers an immediate, sharp response on the screen, mimicking the movements and sound effects you’d find in a genuine real-life Casino.
The game is basically played with standard Vegas rules, however Playtech has added in a useful Surrender element which can save you precious money if played at the correct moment! The Surrender function allows you to fold your hand, sacrificing half of your wager, if you think that it won’t beat the Dealer; however, you can only see one of the Dealer’s cards, so it’s a risk either way as for all you know the Dealer might yet go bust. This added level of strategy can make the game incredibly tense.
In terms of wagering, you’ll be able to place a maximum bet of $1500 – up to $300 per hand – or a minimum bet of $0.1 when only playing one hand. This huge range of wagering options means that high-rollers and newbies alike will be able to find a betting amount that matches their budget.
As you play each hand you’ll notice that you begin to devise separate betting strategies, such as adding wagers to a strong hand, or sticking with a weaker one. Once you get the hang of the wagering options and you find a starting bet that you’re comfortable with, you can click to “rebet and deal” after each hand has been played out.
Apart from the obvious benefits of the unique Surrender function, my favourite part of playing Blackjack Surrender is that there are so many different options to keep the game interesting! Playing between 1 and 5 hands, playing fast or slow and learning to adapt strategies as you discover more about what works and what doesn’t. Blackjack Surrender is, in my opinion, one of Playtech’s best table games.
