3D Online Roulette Review
The game of roulette has been popular since the day it started in the 18th century, and with the boom of online casinos in the late 90s, online roulette has grown even more in popularity. There have also been plenty of versions of this game over the last 20 years, including Live Roulette, where you can take a seat at a virtual roulette table next to other players from around the world, and real croupiers will spin the wheel in a live environment.
Software provider, Playtech, has taken the game one step further, with the release of 3D Roulette – an immersive experience, where no 3D glasses are required, getting you as close to the action as possible. In this review we will find out more about how this game is different from other versions and, more importantly, how to play, and where to play, 3D Roulette from Playtech.
How to Play 3D Roulette
The game of 3D Roulette is very similar to European Roulette, as there are 36 numbers, with only one zero, making it 37 in total. The difference with 3D Roulette is that the view is from the top, which means you’ll get to see the full layout of the table and the wheel, plus there’s a screen at the top right, giving you a close-up view of exactly where the ball lands. Next to this is a list of all the previous numbers and colours that were played already.
Placing your bets is very easy – simply select your bet size, from 0.1 to 1 credit and place the chips on the table. As with other online roulette games, you can place bets directly on the numbers, split numbers, odds or evens, red or black, the 1st 12, 2nd 12 or 3rd 12 numbers, or numbers 1 – 18 or 19 – 36. There are also other betting options available, such as Orphans, Neighbours and Tiers – for a more detailed descriptions of each one, you can simply click on the help guide within the game. One thing we did like, is that there is no set time limit on 3D Roulette, which means that once you’ve placed your bets, you simply click the Spin button and the wheel will start spinning. There is, however, one thing that was missing: you can place as many chips as you want on the table (should you have the funds available), however, the game doesn’t tell you how much you’re betting in total. Granted, it’s a quick calculation by looking at how much money is being deducted from your balance, but no one really wants to do this when concentrating on actual betting. Bar that, 3D Roulette is a great experience, especially for the first-time online roulette player, as it gives you a close-up view of the action.
