New Jersey’s lengthy determination to win the fight against PASPA is finally paying off in a big way, with the latest role player to have joined the regulated online gambling market being the iconic gaming giant, Hard Rock International. The digital leg of the proceedings was officially launched recently at Hardrockcasino.com. Hard Rock International also celebrated the official opening of its new Atlantic City casino at the location of the former Trump Taj Mahal. The Hard Rock Atlantic City casino venue officially opened its doors after recently receiving its licence to operate from New Jersey’s state gaming regulators, a milestone in its own right.

GIG Announces Go-Ahead

On June 28, Hard Rock International’s official digital partner in New Jersey, Gaming Innovation Group (GIG), announced that it had received the official go-ahead from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement authorising GIG to provide an official casino platform to Hard Rock, accepting real money bets. Gaming Innovation Group announced earlier during this year that it had signed a partnership agreement with Hard Rock International, authorising the group to supply and develop a digital platform Hard Rock International’s very first online casino. Chief Executive of Gaming Innovation Group, Robin Reed, has expressed his excitement at the company’s official approval by the state of New Jersey, saying that GIG was particularly looking forward to working together with Hard Rock International as a result of the entering of the regulated US market being a mutual goal of both companies. Gaming Innovation Group focuses on the technology that drives the digital platforms in the iGaming industry and the provision of quality technology is absolutely vital in the creation of a working and effective online gaming landscape.

Live Dealer Games Coming Soon

Hard Rock International’s first online casino site appears to be active already, with the focus being on gambling games only. Poker doesn’t seem to enjoy any priority, with the exclusive exception of Video Poker. The site’s FAQ section does make mention of Live Dealer games launching soon and that the games will be broadcast live from Atlantic City. There are only 2 other New Jersey sites offering Live Dealer games: the Golden Nugget and Befair. Befair reportedly makes use of the Golden Nugget’s gaming licence. The identity of the Live Dealer technology partner expected to join forces with the Hard Rock International, remains a closely guarded secret.
