IGT Launches Electronic Bingo In Ontario

It’s Bingo, it’s completely electronic, and it’s being rolled out at no fewer than 12 gaming centres in Canada. We’re referring of course to the news that International Game Technology (IGT) has been tasked to provide a special concept in electronic gaming to 12 of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s (OLG) charitable entertainment centres.
The OLG is responsible for the sale of Lottery products all over the province of Ontario. The corporation is a large-scale provider of Bingo products and slots, as well as coin and various other game-related solutions. The company also provides online casino games and is widely recognised as an industry leader in the field.
Stream-Lined Entertainment
IGT, on the other hand, is world-renowned for the creation of quality games, and their Bingo offering is hard to beat. A full range of engaging electronic games will be made available to players all over Ontario. These will include award-winning tiles like Golden Rooster, Bengal Eyes, and Pharaoh’s Legacy.
Players, for the most part, prefer the ease and uncluttered nature of electronic Bingo, which of course substitutes the old style of cardboard or paper cards with an electronic version of the game. The games are pre-loaded on an electronic device. Two styles of devices are generally used; either a hand-held size device or a static terminal device closely resembling a computer screen.
Serving Ontario And Beyond
IGT’s regional Vice President, David Flinn, describes the launch of electronic Bingo games in Canada as a meaningful opportunity offering many possibilities for growth, for the corporation as well as its customers.
He also said that the entertainment portfolio now being launched in Canada, perfectly complements the company’s existing offering for the region. The titles, as well as the solutions packages, have all been localised in order to meet the region-specific needs of the Canadian market, and specifically, the Ontario local market.
Flinn has expressed the hope that the launch of electronic Bingo in Ontario will only be the beginning of IGT’s involvement in Canada. The goal is to expand to other provinces as well.
